Fucket bad performance from Griggs two quick races based on times
The race was a snoozefest out to the bell - Griggs was right at the front with 400 to go. He clipped Guyon on the way down the back straight and got s**t right out the back after that - just fell right through the field to about a 10m gap to the second last guy. So, maybe the clip did him. Kipsang finished with a 54 second last 400, which is hard core - Griggs was never going to match that in any case - but he was set for low 7:30's

Julien Alfred is flying - 10.87 for her - ahead of a Clayton as usual

McPhillips was at the back from the gun - and got really gapped from 400 to 600. Maybe he was holding off for Saturday.

The more I think about Alfred running down Gabby Thomas at Monaco when she was always considered the 60/100m type shows how fit she is.

McPhillips I'd hopefull will come good, he was 1:45 high in Cork last year before coming 4th in the world. the problem isn't he event has jumped on again a Wanyoni WR in Budapest very much on the cards

Might watch lucerne so Adeleke rolling the dice on a standard you'd imagine.

I wonder will she run nationals

Let's not forget Cork's own Luke Merrigan going in the Euro U18 1500 in Rieti tomorrow 💪

He had to go 3:52 to qualify and has scored that twice so it would be great if he could attack the sub-3:50 tomorrow.
