World Relays this weekend

Between 12:50 and about 16:00 sat and sun on Eurovision sport

From the track athletes preview

"Currently, Irish relay teams sit in qualification spots in five of the six relay events for Birmingham, with the Men's 4x100m (9th), the Women's 4x400m (10th), the Men's 4x400m (11th) and the Women's 4x100m (12th) all well positioned, with 16 places available.

Qualification, however, is far from secured for the Mixed 4x400m team, ranked eighth with just eight spots available. A time faster than the 3:13.59 they achieved at the World Championship heats in Tokyo would increase the team’s chances of being on the startline to defend their title in Birmingham."

There is a lot of firepower to come into all squads but 2 weeks out from NCAAs we need solid performance to hold onto top 14.

Top 6 for ultimate champs seems a stretch

Hopefully we can hold the line till Lauren Roy, Sean Aigbibih, Conor Kelly and Rashidat re enter the conversation.

Adeleke opened up outdoor 22.86 or something over 200m overnights just outside autoQ for Birmingham

Aigboboh broke the senior 200m record in 20.27 too

Mixed 4x400 did okay 4th in their heat in 3:12 faster than last year and they remain In a ranking spot for Euros barely. Doggett well off it

They'll run in a B final tomorrow.

Womens 4x100 were DQd but I missed that one

W 4x 400 at 15:05

Blazing 48:34 split from Mawdsley backing her her 49 flat yesterday

She's not just a pretty face

McCann can be rightly proud of her 51:30
