He’s run like that since a kid - it’s bizarre because he looks like he almost locks his knees.. it also makes him deceptively fast because anyone facing him would assume he is a slouch!

It looks impossible for it to be fast or efficient, and I can't imagine it maximises power in contact either.

Only thing I'd say here lads, is There are enough running styles even within athletics, nevermind other sports where you need to run to make this an extremely inexact science. Remember what they famously said about Michael Johnson. Imagine how fast he'd be if he wasn't so fooking upright!! So, while I agree that the bold Sam P has his issues, I'm not sure changing gait at this stage is going to solve much.
