The Official Athletics Thread

That’s not a good sign. He is young but has had a career of a fellla 10+ yrs older based on the years he has been pounding. Never nice to see.
Also it's a pattern that we saw with Henrik and Fillip.

I think Henriks was a toe but Fillips was an achillies.

They never got back really.

Just watched Madrid Back,

Lavin did well got a q from her heat but was DFL in the final. looked hurt.

Attaoui had a mighty cut off the 1000m WR. worth a watch the place was rocking

Leike Kalver looks to be in great form. Did her usual out in 22 mid home in 28 mid for 51 and change..it looked painful.

Audrey Wirro took a handy 800 she seems to have gotten over her fear of running in the pack

Batocletti got Out kicked by Birke Haylom in the 1500m, good run for Batocletti, just missed out on the Italian 1500 record which for a 10k runner shows wheels

Yeah I watched the playback later last night. Thought Klaver went extra hard - for her usual 51 as you say.

Was surprised Baltocletti was as close as that to the win.

LOL, the sound was turned down so I thought Lavin's semi was the final. Missed the later race ... whaddalanger

Jaysus, was looking at the Euro Cross Clubs event there. Men's u20. Donore Harrier lad in 3rd spot with about a km to go. Finished 36th!! Fock, must have had a complete and utter blow out on the old sugar levels or something. Up to then they were in silver position for Team event close enough to first. Poor lad, Callum Twomey, eventually finished 4th for the team. Unbelievable scenes.
