Ya it’s been a bit of a patchy season for the women’s 400m runners. Obviously Sharlene had a family bereavement but wasn’t exactly setting the world a light prior to that terrible tragedy, Sophie B hasn’t done much of note and I don’t think any of the fringe relay team members are showing much improvement. But disappointing as you’d have hoped the positive momentum could have kept going given age profile and some better funding.
Few weeks still to Tokyo, maybe some might run into a bit of form. Derval was great for that back in the day to peak at a champs with little shown in lead up.
