Tomorrow Night VMTV3 at 21:00

The Prefontaine Classic

It's a mega DL in fairness in Uncle Phil's $200 Million pleasure dome.

Stardust throughout

There is a lot of shit talk about the mile WR going down which won't happen but we'll get to see the big Americans re enter the arena after taking the grand slam dime which is still to be paid out. No Jakob still. Not great. No Kerr.

They bumped the mile for the 1500m so Faith Kipyegon world record incoming. Sarah Healy may well break the Irish Record in her wake.

Adeleke gets her first look at Syd. Based on form that view will be from behind. need to see some improvement this time.

We also see the state of the art fire escape they introduce all the sprinters through. The land of Razzmatazz and they make Sha'Carri and Kishane etc look like they're having a fag break behind a centra. Kishane ran 9.75 last week, he has Brommell for company. Kung Fu and Tebogo in the 200m

Athing Mu is in the 800m I hope she gets her shit together she is sensational. Keely still out. Also concerning

Great races all over though

Looking forward to it

The Kenny 'n' Letsile show is a surefire hit I'd say - although Tebogo has been quiet so far this year.
In terms of form this season, Adeleke ranks 7th out of 8 in the W400 field so she should be well behind Syd for sure. Interexstingly, that race is not listed as one of the points events on the night.
Hard to see anyone laying a glove on the mighty Beatrice in the W5000
Reekie and Duguma will presumably be hoping to hang on to Mary M in the W800
The mile field looks well-stacked - with a pacemaker to keep 'em honest we presume. Agree that we won't see a WR.
That W1500 field is top-class - all the sharks are in the pool. If the bauld Sarah makes a significant dent in this race then it's a massive step towards doing something serious in Tokyo. Her style is to hang in until nailing the also-rans in the last 150 - and hoping not to get boxed in. Depending on the race Kipyegon runs that might do her just fine here.

Has been training for the 400m apparently.

Also there was a massive row between the Oly 4x400m quartet and the Botswanan federation. The lads were due to be paid a €4K bonus which is a nice whack for all but Letsile. Not sure if that got sorted

You doing the Lee Swim tomorrow Guapo? I'm in, along with one of the BpT juniors - I've done precisely one swim since finishing last year's race
no didn't know it was on to be honest, havent been in the water since last year one. traditionally when I'm laid up i head off swimming but decided to go Stength/Erg this time.

I'm 4 weeks post surgery knee is grand. But my adductor/groin never came right so I'm squatting/RDLing in between 2mins on 1 min off. Getting there but no swimming unfortunately
