I’m not saying Rice or Odegaard were good in the game, I’m saying PSGs midfield and attack were not amazing at all in that match.

Just cause he made a load of passes doesn’t necessarily mean he was amazing during the game.

We scored early, they have the best attack in the world. We decided our best chance of winning was to use our amazing defence. It almost worked but had nothing to do with Vintinha being incredible which he sure can be.

M8, respectfully you're talking absolute bollocks. Yes Arsenal have an amazing defence. However when you're well organised with 11 men behind the ball, any team can have be hard to break down.

Great midfielders don't treat the ball like a hot potato m8. They keep hold of it, pass it, get into position to get it back and relieve the pressure on their team.

Balon Deccie couldn't do that that night. He's a fantastic athlete and covers a lot of ground, gets the odd goal and takes a good corner when given 5 minutes to do so, but he's not a patch on Paddy Vieira. Who was a truly great midfielder.

Surprised Arsenal didn’t get a decent attacker in the window.

Wouldn’t have been massively difficult to upgrade on Gyokeres, Martinelli, Trossard.

Rest of the team is extremely solid.

The attack was the weakest aspect last season and doesn’t look any better this.

Madueke, Havertz, Gyokeres aren’t great tbh.

Downan is more of an attacking midfielder than a forward yeah? Like Eze?

Maybe he’s planning on playing these midfielders as wide attackers.

Doubt he’ll be taking the handbrake off anyway. They’ll piss the league either way.
