People judging him after 5 games where 3 were away to Sp*rs, Villa and City are being a bit dumb. We’ve also played 20% of the season so far with 10 men which won’t keep happening.
We won’t be playing like that in every game.

But also if you have the best defence in the league then it’s ok to lean in to it at times.

Quite surprised by this. Ornstein mentioned in the summer that Arteta was being given/looking to take more power over the running of the club. I wonder was there a power struggle going on behind the scenes. I don’t think this is good news for Arsenal.

Yeah, this one has come out of the blue. Not sure what it means in the long term, if there was a power struggle going on then it could even be a positive but hard to tell yet.

Yeah I run the Twitter account for the daily fuckin mail. Busted!!

Arsenal’s “project” started 5 years ago and the club was in a desperate state.

Edu/Arteta were tasked with a huge clearout and rebuild.

Improvement to the squad year on year since then has been pretty clear backed by huge investment from the owners.

Because the points graph has been upward the last 3 seasons Arsenal fans would have expected it to continue and that 90+ points would be a realistic target this season.

The rocky start to this season is the first major blip. Expectation are obviously higher now.

Edu walking at this stage is odd and it’s worthy of discussion.
