This was an absolutely fantastic game. Mary's have just about had the edge all year but emphatically beat Clontarf today.

RTÉ putting up the article as if they've covered the league all year is an insult, as is how the IRFU and Provinces treat grass roots rugby.

Anyway, massive congratulations to St. Mary's on a deserved 3rd title

St Mary's College ended a 14-year wait for glory as they were crowned Energia AIL winners on Sunday after a 46-31 win over defending champions Clontarf in Aviva Stadium.

Interesting that there likely won't be a replay and they'll award the win to UCC based on the score and time of the incident.

I imagine that the NCC had the option of a replay there.
Shannon were being resoundingly beaten here and accepted it. Were it closer they would have a case to ask for the replay
