He took Derby and Forest from the old second division to league winners within a short space of time.

His double!!! European Cup win, with a side with no European pedigree is the likes of which will never be seen again. Even if he had went 20 years past that never doing anything again it was an incredible achievement.

Imagine if Ranieris Leicester went on to win back to back Champions league. Talking down what Clough did is daft.

lol clough won two massive european cups no doubt but you’re one of the first to denigrate any of the liverpool EC wins before the champions league format.

Clough was a very intelligent. articulate, charasmatic guy. Ok, the gatt did get a hold of him but I think he was a genius, way ahead of his time. He had some eye for a player as well.
