The Nottingham Forest Relegation Party

His achievements were front loaded. Had he not failed into the bottom of the bottle he could have won more.
Lol, if you take away Mike Tyson's early career when he was at his devastating best, and widely acknowledged as one of the all time greats by people who know far more about boxing than I, he was some bum.

And that Liston fella, sure he only beat everyone but Ali. Another bum.

And look at Tiger woods, what has he won lately?

And Steve Davis went the whole of the 90s and 00s without winning a single world championship.

Etc etc et fcuking cetra.

lol clough won two massive european cups no doubt but you’re one of the first to denigrate any of the liverpool EC wins before the champions league format.
🤔
Forrest were a modest club where Clough built the team with a majority of bargain signings. Liverpool had financial might as one of England's best supported clubs. Only United had bigger attendances back then don't forget.

So we agree his best years were early then.

Incredible to think Clough and his derby side were on the beach in spain when word reached them that both Leeds and Liverpool
had failed to win their matches on the monday night which meant Derby were champions,
I think from 65 to 75 there were 9 different title winners,
