I see calls of spoiling votes here.
Like genuinely do people not get it?
If you're anti government they are more than happy if you spoil your votes as it means you didn't vote for Connolly either.
Why do you think the government haven't come out with a campaign or at the very least a campaign around misinformation on voting as there's alot of it out there.

I was laughing earlier on some far right agitator Facebook page, they'd up a post encouraging the spoiling the vote and write down the name of the person like Maria Steen as a protest vote.
A fella commented saying 'would make more sense to vote for Gavin as if he wins can reopen nominations and get Maria Steen on the ballot.'
The page replied 'no don't do this as if Gavin wins FF can claim back their election expenses'

These brain boxes genuinely do not understand like, they want a protest and they want Maria Steen and they can do it if they want but they won't cause it means FF get their expenses back. Honestly the funniest take on something I've ever seen. If the far right had brains they'd be a lot more dangerous than they already are.

ESRI says that the more well off (maybe I should’ve used that instead of well heeled) will only suffer an effective 1.3% diminution in income compared to “2.5% or more” for those less well off.

And now Micheál Martin wants to take issue with the ESRI findings and says they should also factor in road building and public transport. What an absolute pity!
