The Next Uachtarán na hÉireann

The electorate clearly want coalition government and don’t want any party having too many seats.

Do they? I think the 3 main parties are so shockingly shit, that the vote is split. Its not an indication that the electorate want a coalition. Its just the way the votes have panned out and FFG have their grubby little arrangement since the "confidence and supply" bullshit to keep control.

SF have never been in Government and have presented their plans to the electorate and have received their verdict. For all the faults of FF and FG they have consistently been voted in by the electorate.

I’m confused, you would vote for her because of her support for Assad, you know is responsible for the deaths of over 300000 Syrians.
That is very strange
I support her for being pro-sovereignty for an Arab country when the West was demonising that country & destabilising the entire region, yes I would.

Looking at the numbers, they got the same answer as FF/FG. No real difference.
IF FFG weren't one and the same, they all got the same answer.

But of course...FF and FG are different parties....apparently

FGs vote share has declined also because Irish politics has changed. We used to have a 2 and 1/2 party system where FF was twice as big as FG and FG were twice as big as Labour. Those days are over and they are never coming back.

The electorate clearly want coalition government and don’t want any party having too many seats. FF had nearly 80 seats for 14 years and I think the electorate don’t want one party alone being responsible for the running of the country again. The PDs from 97-11 and Greens from 07-11 were an irrelevance really.

Like I said m8 , a steady decline.

All the waffle in the world doesn't change their shrinking numbers.

FF and FG transferred heavily to each other. SF totally failed to present a viable alternative Government to the electorate.
