Spoiling a vote is actually a direct complaint about the calibre of candidates. Also if someone makes the effort to vote on the day be it spoiling it or not, they have every right to criticise the candidates and the electoral process.In addition people who advocate spoiling a vote, or those who spoil their vote, which will be discarded in the count and which is equivalent to a non vote, have no business complaining about the caliber of the candidates or indeed criticising the electoral process
Spot on, as though you are obliged to vote for the least awful candidate.
