Exactly - there will be massive number of voters in Dublin who wouldn't give another FF or FG candidate a second thought but will give Gavin at worst a high transfer based on his achievements with their footballers.
Other parties will have to be careful with any attacks on him.

He'll pick up a few in Cork too on the basis he denied Kirry a couple of titles!!

Her initial reaction to Ru invading Ukraine was the default "blame NATO for everything" kneejerk response. That will be thrown at her over the course of the campaign.
