I think he might have been elected in a different constituency before the lines were redrawn. His Drumcondra base used be part of Dublin North-Central. When the constituencies were redrawn in 2016(?) Drumcondra was included in the new Dublin Central afaik

This is a much bigger sleaze story than that poor fool of a man who happened to get a bonus at work paid in Shares.

I swear to gawd what was once a promising centre left alternative led Catherine Murphy and Roisin Shorthall has become a fucking carnival and if Labour can't win back a chunk of 'Socially Democratic' voters (the theory not the party) they may as well roll up the tent too

The wrong'uns are hoping that people believe that they are all the same.

Hopefully people will come out and exercise their vote.

But there may need to be a lot of thought given to the transfers. Someone might think "Bad and all it could be to have a Shinner/Socky as our next TD - but imagine if it was The Monk!"
