Dougal here la with his quoting some things from Google but denying direct quotes from Google. You're the epitome of what's wrong with the Greeners in general and Eamon Ryan in particular - ye only want to quote the stats that suit your argument and then do a "I'm not listening" routine on other stats from the same sources.

Extolling China as somehow being THE paragons of virtue in terms of Green Agenda shows just how f**ked up you are. It's the equivalent of "Never mind the quality, feel the length"
There you are twisting again.

Tis little wonder that posters generally avoid engaging with you these days.

Twisting what?
You quoted google and gave us stats on China's solar panels and wind turbines. When I quoted google on China burning 40% more coal than the rest of the world combined you got all coy and said you didn't know. Either you're going to stand over google figures on China or you're not but you can't cherry pick and then pretend that you are arguing in good faith. You're clearly not. And then in an effort to deflect from your duplicity you have the brass neck to accuse others of that which you are very much guilty yourself.

China are no poster boys for how we should stave off Climate Change. Yes they're supplying the markets with solar panels and wind turbines for which they're paid handsomely, but meanwhile they're burning fossil fuels like bandits and only people trying to gaslight us would suggest otherwise.

So another bike shed controversy.
This time its 127k for a HSE bike shed in Kerry.
2 of the tenders were for 6k and 10k but surprise surprise they went with the 127k one.
Seriously wtf
It’ll be forgotten about by Monday. Just like the Dáil bike shed, and the ones at other hospitals in Dublin. And the firemen’s shed outside the fire station on Anglesea Street.

That is strange, usually its the cheapest one that wins.
This should be investigated properly and for a change anyone guilty should be sacked from the civil service.
