Bertie Ahern was a FF politician and he was supporting Mitchell who has links with Epstein. Not a great look for Dirty Bertie Does Jimmy expect me to put that into the sports forum or what? I've obviously touched a nerve with you both. No doubting where your allegiances lie.

I don't know what poster you're referring to. I can only assume its soundy. But you go ahead thinking I'm him if you like.
I’m a FF member and open about that. Bertie asked what Mitchell is supposed to have done. I don’t know. Do you?

I don’t think that counts as an expression of support. It certainly doesn’t count as links to Epstein.

In your post you asked how many more ff, fg names will we see linked to him,
It was claimed by a foreign diplomat about thirty years ago that half the Irish cabinet were having affairs. A Government spokesman was asked which half of the cabinet was involved in such practices. The probably apocryphal response was: "The bottom half, of course".

Soc Dems and SF are in favour of the Taoiseach going to washington in march, Needless to say PBP are against it, So are Labour AFAIK,
SF havent made a decision on whether they are going to go but it all points to them doing so,
If MM had declined the invite it would have been an act of stupidity

They'll go alright - lot of money at stake. They need to thread a fine line though. Irish American voters also tend to be pro Trump.
Huge difference last year between MLMD's tough talk on Israel/Gaza in the dail and her subsequent views when in the US!!

It was ironic they attended in 2024 when the bombardment was at its peak, But boycotted it in 2025 during a ceasefire,
