The next Government

Who will form the next government

  • Total voters
    56
  • Poll closed .

There’s absolutely no need for this kind of nasty comment.
I'm for it to an extent.
Ken is right to stand up and if he sensationalises something so be it.
There was no need for Martin to sign on off on that nasty budget which has absolutely nothing for the working man and woman. Like absolutely nothing.
Cost of living crisis and there's nothing.
A nasty budget by a nasty government.

And that’s a legitimate point.

However, play the ball not the man.

He did play the ball, Martin was in possession of the ball and Ken took it back for the normal working people.

Martin and his governments behavior would suggest there's no cost of living crisis and it's down to the following:
  • Wages are too high to realise what it's like for the normal working man/woman.
  • He doesn't do his own shopping
  • Ignorance and arrogance.

There was nothing for me in that budget but it was good to see the increase in SNAs and other supports. My wife works as an SNA and I can see they do need more, because they have widened the criteria for what constitutes the need for extra help, so there's a consequent pressure on the system. This is something that will benefit our society over the decades to come.

Where has Micheál or any members of his Government suggested there’s no cost of living crisis?

Post a link.

The energy credits in recent years were very welcome but it was always a case they would be halted, The problem is people get used to them
and when taken away it becomes a major problem, financially for the people and the govt are the target for that anger,
