Morning Ireland had two interesting interviewees this morning. First was a member of the Irish Institute of Engineers  who pointed out that the Government's commitment to zero carbon energy by 2050 was impossible on current technology. He said it was illogical to commit and draft legislation to have us sign up to something that we've no way of knowing at the moment if it's even achievable.

Then they had someone who used be the Chair of Cluid Housing Agency. Not alone did the FFG Government fail to achieve their own housing targets again in 2024, they will fail to achieve them in 2025, and most likely fail to meet them in 2026 as well.

But don't worry lads, in the build up to the next election FFG will again promise the sun, moon, and stars, and ye can all lap it up again and blame the opposition for pointing out the false promises and ridiculous commitments.

Wow, canvassing has started early, don’t worry ye will still be rejected. 🤣

Up the RA etc etc.

Yes I heard that interview with that engineer, how refreshing to hear actual facts rather than waffle.

I have no doubt that the Green Party puppets who live in a parallel universe, had a big hand in signing us up with that ridiculous 2050 commitment.

Do you think the representative of the Irish Institute of Engineers was shouting Up the RA etc etc

He was very logical, very lucid, and firmly of the opinion that we'd (been) signed up to commitments we couldn't hope to achieve on known technology.

Did you notice the gap between where I wrote up your crowd ( referencing your early support of the scum terrorist crowd you represent ).

Then in a different sentence, suitably spaced from the mention of your scum, I mentioned the engineer.

How your brain did not notice that is interesting.

2050 Commitments aren't based on current technology though, are they?

Legislation written in last year isn't based on current technology either - what's your point?

I know logic mightn't be your strong point but making promises to pay mahooosive fines if we aren't compliant by 2050 was an illogical thing to do at the time given the technologies we currently have.

Hover cars aren't invented yet - do you think the Government should be planning for roll out of hover cars and just dispense with building roadways or something?????

Spotted a fella having a rant on twitter, Mentioned Fatty o Brien, Mehole and 19 covids Harris, He is from Cork going by his username, Surely he was one of us , We all know who,

I was listening to Paths to Power earlier, Y8s was saying that FG under Harris are at their lowest approval rate since 2005. That can't to on, I'd say he'll be ousted
