How should he have argued with someone that goes on about his mother and having an abortion, the same person who has been banned for making jokes about child abuse?
Same piece of shit laughed at people who are facing homelessness.
Found it hilarious. Poor parents are seeking medication over the stress, innocent kids moving house/school.
Potentially being bullied over being homeless. All bets are off when someone does that.He finds that funny and you stand up for him? Says a lot about you to be honest.

He should probably have put him on ignore if that was the case but as he was indulging in debate with him, then debate the issues, rather than taking the insults, storing them up, and trying to then use them as a reason to cop out of a debate at a later date.

It is possible they may gamble with the feeling that if returned it should keep them in office until 2028. buying them time on housing,
"Buying them time on housing."🤦‍♂️
We have a deficit of 250,000 houses, they announced an end to the eviction ban last week with no new legislation in place...and there is no Dáil sitting this week as they're all off on tax payer funded jollies. Only in Paddy land.

Buying them time??? FG have been in power since 2011, that's 12 years! And they've been propped up in Government by FF for the last 7 years while housing has gone from bad, to worse, to absolutely chaotic under them. And you think another 5 years of their tenure is going to improve matters?
Yes they got complacent and didnt give the issue the attention required, Call it coldhearted, callous or whatever but they also know progress over the next few years will save them votes,

"Got complacent"🤦‍♂️. In 2016 people said this was a national emergency yet, we are currently 250,000 houses short supply wise... yet 2 months ago fat c**t O Brien said it wasn't a housing emergency. It wasn't complacency at all.

What did he store up? The two posts were about 1hr apart, only an absolute idiot would think that he used it as a reason to cop out of a debate, fair play 👏👏

Why do you think they'll make progress over the next few years when they made such an utter ballsup of it over the last decade and a bit?

They may improve the situation from the current abysmal mess but that's likely to be akin to just stopping a boat from sinking as fast - it'll still be sinking. Unless they have a complete rethink of their attitude and policies. Pretty unlikely if they get away with it again and get elected for another 5 years.

So he continued to debate with someone who made deplorable remarks about his parents, and then when uncomfortable truths were put to him, then and only then did he decide to back out, citing the deplorable remarks that had been made prior to his other ongoing engagement?
