The next Government

Who will form the next government

  • Total voters
    56
  • Poll closed .
People vote for whoever they see as most likely to look after their own narrow short term self interest, so farmers vote for FG, as do landlords and older voters, FF make a point of looking out for pensioners, they know there are votes to be had in increasing the pension each year so that's always a priority for them.

The have -nots in society, regardless of their educational achievements, can hardly be blamed for looking elsewhere when voting, why would you vote for more of the same when it means you can't afford to buy your own home and are at the mercy of the FG voting landlord class?

It's just a shame that SF are seen as the alternative, considering the amount of paramilitary baggage that they carry.

Also, you are not going to vote for a party that will take money out of your pocket to give to society's wasters with their hands forever out.

Of course there is, across many different industries. No incentive for the layabouts though, time to reduce the dole.
We are now importing labour due to skills shortages in many areas.

Anyone sitting at home all week getting handouts should upskill or re-train etc as any trade now will make a great wage.

Otherwise just complain again to Mick Barry and Sinn Fein etc about "da Gubbermint" and wait for the big bag of free money when they get into power.......
