FWIW I think the Racing game should be in Thomond given the date and significance of the fixture
I've booked Bristol (in the vain hope Aer Lingus won't act like wankers again) but not sure yet on UBB, the prospect of a bad day out and getting there, is probably off-putting.![]()

*Munster Rugby can confirm that it is currently engaging with Cork GAA to seek formal approval, through its usual approval processes, to host our Round 1 pool fixture with Racing 92 at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
Unless Munster's start to the season is significantly better than one would expect with the opposition faced, if that Racing match is lost, I can see a lot of noise around McMillan being the right coach for Munster by November.
It's a pretty good draw, thankfully UBB away.
It'll be interesting to compare and contrast that Gloucester game.Yeah seems like a missed opportunity alright, just shows how desperate they are to cash in on a game in SVPUC.
If it was anyone other than Gloucester then they could just pick the other game, but they won't get a crowd having played them here last year.
At least the Gloucester game in Thomond is at a reasonable hour and I can do it as a day trip
Have the Racing game at Thomond and move the Leinster game to PUC this year. Needs must. It'll be interesting to compare and contrast that Gloucester game.
They lost a million last year and insist on throwing away the Leinster money, so it's not like they have a lot of choices.

I’d argue two proper games all year in Musgrave is more insane.Only one European game in Tomend is insane, and you can be fairly sure that if we get out of the pool we'll be playing all our games away from home.
Agree though, put Racing game up in Thommand and have the Leinster game in Super Valu Park. Great way of honouring Axel.
