The Munster Rugby Thread 24/25

Yet youve no problem with the limerick hurlers continuing to select an actual convicted violent criminal. standards make yours a double
Your comment alone proves my point .here you are commenting on limerick hurling online in relation to something that happened outside the field of sport.
My point to reiterate it again was i thought it was an ill advised appointment and would lead to controversy online etc that munster could do without thats all , Randall is innocent in the eyes of the law as the alleged victim didnt proceed with it.

too late, the usual clowns have dialled up the outrage to 11. im never going to a game again. the whole organisation needs to resign blah blah blah. the indo are as bad as any of the english redtops. slapping themselves on the back for starting a pile on a guy who has already been through this almost a full 30 years ago. ruadhri oconnor and cian treacy were about 12 and 6 when all this went down. pair of twats
When all what went down?

'💯 agree with you on this.

Its a really thoughtless and stupid decision by Munster Rugby.

This argument put forward online shur why are people only giving out now about a guy they know nothing about is rubbish .before this he wasn't going to be hired by Munster Rugby , there are other coaches out there , bad move' .

I'm not sure the unwanted attention they brought on themselves by picking Hayes helped them. It didn't seem to affect Hayes so much but who is to say the other players weren't affected in some way.

All we know is they did suffer reputational damage and they also lost with a team that was expected to win.

All you need is this coach to piss off one or two players and then his past can quickly become a perceived reality whether there is any basis for that reasoning or not.

just pointing out the inherent double standard in a supporter criticising munster rugby for employing a guy who was never tried in court but seeing nothing wrong with the limerick hurlers continuing to select a fella with an actual criminal conviction for a violent crime.

Last week he was berating the role of blazers and jobs for the boys, of which the PGB is the epitome of. Now apparently the CEO and GM have too much power. Make up your mind Gerry.
Sorry now, the 3 PGB members who resigned were 3 outstanding servants to Munster rugby who have Munster rugbys best interests at heart and to write them off as blazers is a disgrace.
I would have more faith in billy holland, mick o’driscoll and killian Keane then any coach ticking a box on his cv
Read the mail and guardian report lads
