The Munster Rugby Thread 24/25

Munster Rugby: Shane Daly; Calvin Nash, Tom Farrell, Alex Nankivell, Ben O’Connor; Jack Crowley, Craig Casey; Jeremy Loughman, Diarmuid Barron, Michael Ala’alatoa; Edwin Edogbo, Fineen Wycherley; Tadhg Beirne (C), Jack O’Donoghue, Gavin Coombes.

Replacements: Niall Scannell, Michael Milne, John Ryan, Tom Ahern, Brian Gleeson, Paddy Patterson, JJ Hanrahan, Dan Kelly.

Seems to be about as strong a side as can be fielded.

Interesting that BOC is back and Abrahams has been dropped again. Ditto Haley.

Not sure if Kleyn is on compassionate leave, is injured or has been dropped. I suspect it's one of the first two.

Kleyn has a calf injury. Delighted to see BOC get his reward. That's three strong aerial performers in the back three, albeit Nash hasn't fully hit his straps yet

Yeah, with all the talk about the impact of kicking, need to have back three player who are really good in the air. Historically, I'd have put Haley in that camp. I fear Abrahams is just too small.

He's been posting a load of happy family stuff on Instagram, it certainly doesn't look like someone on compassionate leave

Heading off at 6.15 am - Cork -Barca - Marseille. Get back at 9pm on Mon.

We had a great win there 2 yrs ago but Toulon are off the charts now. Hope springs eternal.

Looks like Bath will beat Castres so they may send a B side to us. Looks like an away trip for last 16
Am there right now, it's been a long day of travel. Weather is okish, the wind can be a little cutting.
