The Munster Rugby Thread 24/25

Just read about the sad news for the Kleyn family. He did a great job given the circumstances. At one stage near the end there he ripped a Gloucester fella out of their defensive maul. Never seen him do that before. Don't think the lad did either as he sat there looking up at the Cork night sky, 5 feet away from the maul.

The leinster will be a tell all.
They got a scare in Leicester themselves that they did well to come back from but Leicester took their eye off it and let them back in it too.

I find it all baffling that the Munster attack if just beyond poor time and time again and Prendergast is never questioned.

Really watch it the next game. Good shape on the initial carry. Sometimes but not always still OK the second. Third phase you have centers at rucks, back rows on the wing and second rows as second receivers.

Too right.

Was sat next to a chap from Limerick. They were down for two nights , stayed out at the Airport hotel.

Getting down/away from the Pairc is a disaster. Traffic is a balls if you park up by Pairc Ui Rinn and if you park in town its a nightmare trek with small kids.

I know the Clare gang like to moan but having no proper transport links or parking nearby is a dose .
Jaysus. What a moan. Tell me, what parking is close enough for you?? The 20m line at the Blackrock end? Would you like to park in one of the teams dressing rooms? I bet you’re the kind of guy who pulls into a petrol station and then parks inside the yellow box outside the main door/exit. Fuck everyone else.
If one was to park at Pairc Ui Rinn (15min walk away) please give me a compatible 40k capacity stadium that doesn’t have traffic forming 15mins outside its gate pre and post match.
And lastly, there was a FREE bus dropping patrons from monahan road to black ash. Plus 4 separate bus eireann routes servicing all approach avenues.

Yeah thats it alright 🙄

Ive set out the problems with access to the Pairc in my original post and if you bothered reading more than one page back you'd see I linked the post from the Munster website about the park n ride and bus routes

The last three games I went to, Tipp, Clare and Last night it was the same story an almighty trek down to the ground or close to an hour in traffic trying to get back out toward Mahon, Douglas.

Even approaching from Pairc ui Rinn you had a hundred cars or more parked in cycle lanes, add that to the removal of parking along Monahan Rd and you have a ground thats an almighty pain in the hole to travel to these days.

Ive never blocked a garage forecourt in my life you complete oddball 😆

An almighty treck out to PUC???
Did you take a detour on the way to make it “an almighty treck” 🤷‍♂️

Blackrock, Boreenmanna, and Ballinlough Roads were unsurprisingly very busy for an while after the game but if you’d any sense you’d have parked a bit away from the ground and walked to your car It was bone dry FFS. 🙄

Do you even read whats posted. 'With small kids'.

Go back to sleep.

It was a long night down the Pairc.

Atmosphere was very flat mostly because Munster gave the crowd so little for 70mins

It wasn't as if Gloucester were anything other than organised in defence. They looked like they could play for a month and not score.

Thank fuck it sparked a bit In the last 10.

As the alicadoo behind me said, the best thing about the game was that we don't have to get into the car and drive home from Limerick. I'd have to agree with him.

Any casual fan or first timer wouldn't have taken much from tonight
Some of amount of GAA heads in premium, pinting away, chatting about next year's junior B championship draw, fock all interest in the rugby😁
