The Munster Rugby Thread 24/25

What happened with Kleyn?

They're making very hard work of this awful Gloucester team.
They've been fortunate at times with the bounce of the ball but that's often gone again them.

Ruadhan Quinn looks to have bulked up

Shocking game of rugby. And against a Gloucester second team.
Less than 12 months ado we were in Northampton and close to a win.
We will win this, but we do not look threatening.
Won't threaten many proper teams with a dodgy scrum and absolutley zero attacking shape.

Whoever decided Craig Casey was man of the match must have watched a different match to me. I’d say even Casey’s own mother wouldn’t have selected him as MOTM

His passing was poor, his kicks were telegraphed and awful and his tackling poor.

We were extremely flattered by the scoreline and effectively eventually fell over the line against a poor Gloucester team.

Thought young Ben O’Conner did well enough when the ball came his way.

The scrum improved dramatically thankfully when Odogbu and Wycherly came on and Patterson was a breath of fresh air

The lads on premier but you're right.
Nankivell and Kelly both ahead of him.

Prendergast should thank the lucky start he has Nankivell there. Papers over a lot of cracks

It was a long night down the Pairc.

Atmosphere was very flat mostly because Munster gave the crowd so little for 70mins

It wasn't as if Gloucester were anything other than organised in defence. They looked like they could play for a month and not score.

Thank fuck it sparked a bit In the last 10.

As the alicadoo behind me said, the best thing about the game was that we don't have to get into the car and drive home from Limerick. I'd have to agree with him.

Any casual fan or first timer wouldn't have taken much from tonight

Too right.

Was sat next to a chap from Limerick. They were down for two nights , stayed out at the Airport hotel.

Getting down/away from the Pairc is a disaster. Traffic is a balls if you park up by Pairc Ui Rinn and if you park in town its a nightmare trek with small kids.

I know the Clare gang like to moan but having no proper transport links or parking nearby is a dose .

Gormless giving Casey MOTM.

Very sloopy from Munster. Brainless letting Jack go for the points against the wind. We were never going to lose and the only matter to be decided was BP

Ben O Connor was good. Nanks was exceptional

We need a huge improvement

Can't imagine McMillan is delighted by that performance.

Coombes was very quiet, thought Kleyn made a lot of mistakes but he's got a really good reason. I'm surprised he played
