My point is that there's a consequence to them utterly dominating the Irish squad for the most of the season, in the numbers that they're doing. One can make the point that they might be playing or training a similar amount of times to other provincial squads, but I would contend they're doing so at a far higher level of intensity, and that is taking a toll by the end of the season. Rather than a far more balanced Irish squad, all the pressure is on them to play at a higher level for far longer, and that may be what's been happening to them over the last few seasons.Wouldn’t your heart bleed for them ?
Whilst he may have a valid point, these ghoys are professional athletes and let's call a spade a spade the star players in Leinster get rested as they feel they are too good for league games.
So they hold back their best for the European Cup, not that it made much difference this year.
