The Munster Rugby Thread 24/25

It's tough. There are often very fine margins between players making it and not. A run of injuries at the wrong time can totally disrupt your progress and you may be well into your career before you catch up, if ever. Look at Tom Farrell.

The province is in an equally tough spot, they've seen this lad coming through since his teens, they know what his attitude is, they know his ability and crucially, he's IQ.

It's never a good time but Munster needed to be more proactive in taking a view on potential, not just from a business perspective but in fairness to the players, so they're not hanging on. It's such a pity about Liam Coombes and Patrick Campbell but I think someone said he's going to Edinburgh (?). I thought Liam would make it but for untimely injuries.
Glasgow was the original chat and then I read somewhere else it's Terenure

Thank fuck for that. Disaster averted.

Benetton are no joke, their attack and defence were excellent in the first half. Great result. Turned into this season Munster for the nervy last 6 or 7 mins but overall a good performance.

Anything beyond this is a bonus, next match basically irrelevant. Champions Cup rugby secured for next season, good result.
