The Munster Rugby Thread 24/25

Fair enough.
All I am hearing in the media is emotion, is that what Munster need their players to be, to put in a proper effort to win a game now against what was, let's be honest, a weak side.
Here we are all happy they won and fair enough lads retiring etc.
But feck it, here we are wondering will we still qualify in the bloody league for next seasons champion Cup.
I hope things vastly improve next season under that new coach because I have to say, Munster are now in the pits and have been for a while.
It can't be going unnoticed (well with those running Munster Rugby anything is possible !) that there are a lot of disgruntled long time supporters considering their position re renewing. I have been expecting an intervention by the IRFU, the ultimate owners of Munster Rugby, for the last few years but nothing has happened. Perhaps now that Leinster appear to be falling short, alarm bells might finally be ringing.

They'll be ringing for Leinster which means even less money for the other 3 provinces

They might, but the response from the IRFU is as likely to be more investment in Leinster as sorting out the rest.

They're fucking delighted with themselves for beating Zebre. Flat track bullies. Great to see they're getting such value for money out of Barrett. He was brought to win five games; the quarter, semi and final of the CC, and the semi and final of the URC (surely they can win the quarter without him) and they didn't even pick him for the second of those games.

Like, if you were a business and you got a wad of cash to buy new equipment, you'd at least plug the fucking thing in.
