It is but it's a kick in the bollox to clubs who would be subservient to the schools and loose their best players to them.

You'd need some sort of incentive if you want buy in from the clubs.

Yeah. They're URC players for Leinster, but not pushing through. Barron was widely considered next man up, but has been overtaken by Gus McCarthy, so is wisely looking elsewhere. Milne might have been considered a little further up the pecking order.

Great news, I heard that new IRFU rules now have it that provinces have to pony up 40% of their central contracted players salaries.
That will cost the Ladyboys.

I'd say Milne is still developing. Barron just needs experience, I think he'll do very well with regular time and a positive atmosphere.

Milne was their 4th choice loosehead and Barron was their 5th choice hooker.

On a side note, we now have 9 Leinster men in the Munster squad. Are we in danger of losing our identity?
