Are you denying that Baby John was brutally killed?

Our Justice System that was so quick to find Joanne Hayes and her family guilty of murder and coverup without any evidence seem extremely slow in investigating the actual parents and family.

Are they waiting for some major actor in the killing of the baby to die or what?

Every passing day in an investigation the trail gets a little colder, and justice delayed is justice denied.

why dont you read what Matlock said. She basically told you whats happened even though she is only "Speculating".
If we go your way, we bring the parents to justice inspite the fact that they have other children. The relative who got rid of the baby is dead supposedly so only the mother and father are around. Again all specualtion.What about if they have more children... is the DPP to bring an unwinable case to court, draw other children into the public eye all to satisfy the outrage of elderberry in cork.
Justice take many forms ... its not always about getting someone.

The investigation of a historical crime is a difficult and complex matter. You either can't or don't wish to understand that.

I'd be happy to discuss this with someone who was able or willing to engage in good faith debate. But you can't, so I won't.

The investigation of a historic crime IS difficult. Do you at least accept that the longer the delay the more difficult it becomes to fully investigate?

There are a number of actual facts in the public domain
Baby John was brutally killed
It happened within days of his birth
The parents of Baby John who hid their identity for decades, have been now irrefutably identified.

So far, despite the identification of the parents having been made over a year ago, the DPP has come to no final decision publicly one way or the other on progressing the case.

The DPP quickly got publicly involved in a high profile case recently when disagreeing with Judge’s sentence, but Baby John’s case doesn’t seem as urgent for some reason, despite the fact that the trail is getting colder.

Being clinical, it doesnt matter how brutal the killing was, no proof no case. Killer is dead.Can you prove that they knew their baby was baby john? No connection whatsoever until DNA came out. They thought it was adopted off somewhere. End of case. No way to prove otherwise. How many kerry couples were in the same situation back in the 50s,60s,70s and 80s.

You are assuming that the parents of baby John knew that they were the parents of baby John all along. That has not been proven.

You have decided that because you don't know what is happening in the investigation, that means that nothing is happening in the investigation. That's just rubbish.

An appeal on severity has to be lodged within a certain time frame. The DPP complied with that. To try and compare lodging appeal papers with DPP directions on a historical murder case just shows how ignorant you are on criminal law procedure. Which is fine, until you start pretending that you know better than people who actually work in this area.
