Absolute delusion…last time the Russians came to town we needed to send fishermen from Castletownbere out to confront the Russian Navy…Two choices we either arm up or we are happy to let our neighbors protect us…..

People like Paul Murphy are hellbent on not having as he calls them imperial powers protecting us but would be quite happy to live under Putin’s Socialist Dream….

At the very very least, we should be able to detect who or what is fucking about in and under our territorial waters and skies and in our IT networks.

The days of shur twill be grand are over.

Stay neutral, be bristly enough to deter attacks.
It's that fecking simple.

We need air and sea aggressive defense capability and a well equipped army focussed on crippling any attempts to gain a foothold in Ireland.

Waging of war or campaigns of agression are not needed. Just be a tough enough nut that it's not worth the pain in attacking us.

Also; massively ramp up our cyber warfare capabilities. Stop trying to pay standard public servant salaries and pay enough to attract skilled operators

We need to have open and honest conversation about neutrality but the hysteria of the hard left makes that very difficult.
As someone very fucking on the left, these pricks infuriate me.
If Putin turned around tomorrow said sorry and that Ukraine should be in NATO, they'd be screaming at NATO for not including them

Fucking tankies
