Very good interview with Austin Gleeson on OTB last night. One interesting takeaway was the fact that he requested that Waterford would not appeal his sending off in the league semi final. A lot of people assumed that it was Cahill teaching him a lesson.

Mullane is a legend. Was down in Monkey Maze donkeys years ago and brought the young fella up to him. Couldn't have been nicer, all chat and wrote out a little note for him and all.
In fairness most GAA heads very good with the kids.

I remember bringing the nephew to see cork training one night, at the end sully was walking to his car carrying hurleys and
gear bag but he put them on the ground so he could sign an autograph for the nephew, little things like that stay with you,
We gave mullane some stick at matches but what we wouldnt have given to have him play for cork,
