A bit like Johnny Murphy in the semi final, betting on a red card in the final would be printing money.
He didn't issue any cards in 2022.

Fair enough. He's a terrible ref though. I wince when I see him in charge of a game at any level. He didn't issue any cards in 2022.
I know this was probably discussed at length at the time, but what are people’s opinions of Donal Ogs comments about Tipp earlier on in the year about Tipp rising and falling faster than anyone?
I see it was brought up a couple of times again in the last few days after Corks loss by gleeful Tipp supporters.
For me he didn’t say a whole lot wrong. Tipp had such a poor 2024 and had an incredible rise in 2025 to win the all Ireland. They were poor again this year, but I wouldn’t rule them out from rising again in 2027. Is that not what he was referring to?
Tipp supporters and former players such as Bubbles got hugely defensive, saying things like Well isn’t it better to rise and fall than to not get over the line in 20+ years like Cork.
Well obviously that’s better than our situation, and I don’t think Donal Og insinuated it was. It’s not like he said Why can’t Tipp be more like Cork.
Bubbles did get very defensive. And I’m not here to bat for Donal Og. I just asked peoples opinions on that specific example as I saw it brought up a couple of times by Tipp supporters in the last few days.Bubbles didn’t get “hugely defensive”,
He only said the truth!
Donal Og loves the sound bite but that’s usually for deflection! Has he ever tried to explain why Cork lost last year’s All Ireland final by 15 points?
Will he try and explain why Cork were hammered on Saturday or will we be treated to more sound bites?
I agree with Donal Og on some things but he’s not the clever one he thinks he is!
I hope he rides Limerick like old Johnny did to us v Clare and Galway in recent years
Look, I don't know Donal Og at all in person but I'm not a fan of his personality on the media.Bubbles did get very defensive. And I’m not here to bat for Donal Og. For what it’s worth, on last weekend I think I get the point Canning was trying to make, but he used a really poor example mentioning trains. But Donal Ogs response regarding medals was very poor.

Era if you’re listening to what that eejit says you are in trouble, he is a hindrance to us at this stageI know this was probably discussed at length at the time, but what are people’s opinions of Donal Ogs comments about Tipp earlier on in the year about Tipp rising and falling faster than anyone?
