It was Michael Walsh who mentioned Hoggy and Canning's comments before the match, I don't think I he was rattled by their comments but gave them as an example of how this KK team are viewed in other counties.
Walsh was the only one of the three who saw KK-Offaly (and he's the only one of them who is from KK). He was clearly disappointed by the KK performance but he didn't sugar-coat it or complain about the ref. I think he's a pretty straight shooter all told.
