I do think Coughlan and Fitzgerald are far closer to championship team than some think. I agree I’d like to see more of fitz.

Like any league game it’s the individual performances that matter. Who’s sharper? Who needs more minutes to get there?
Who’s over the hill and needs to be bypassed. Limerick got caught cold by a very weather and injury interrupted league last season. Clare lost their season in the league last year. Got it all wrong.
Winning or losing sat has limited value if let’s say both meet in croker down the line. Both well capable of doing an absolute number of a team. Both vulnerable too in certain ways defensively.
Very little between both cork and Limerick (and Clare and tipp won’t be far off at all !!) I would agree that limericks game v Dublin is just as puzzling and annoying as the cork final performance. I’d have been confident had we gotten to the big day we’d have been hard to beat.
