They are bitter rivals for sure. They are next door neighbours. The Tipp, Galway and Offaly hurling heartland territory are all in the one cluster on either side of the Shannon.

I sure hope galway find their way through to play us in the semi. Tipp will have a huge grudge and we’ve a bone ourselves to pick with Galway. We should beat both but you’d be happier to be playing galway, tipp are improving away the whole time.
