Mad enough decision, he's fine for club level but couldn't see him working at that level. Strange enough too is that neither David McCarthy or Power who were involved as no.16 at different stages recently seem to be included.

I don't know what to make of Dowlings return to the Limerick set up. Is he really of inter county goalkeeper standard? Part of me thinks there is a bang of desperation off it, part of me thinks it's a great idea. Really can't make up my mind.

It's better find out in training and the league than first round of championship and I'd say they will all get a chance in nickys absence
