The Hurling Thread

Various Tyrone pundits have questioned why Nicholas Murphy didn’t lie down and get Tadhg Kennelly sent off, after the elbow he got at the beginning of 2009 final. Nicholas got up straight away and played on, but Tadhg played a proverbial blunder that day, and was instrumental in the Kerry win. Mickey Harte, and Brian Cody knew how to rattle teams and stop them playing!
Blinder not blunder.

Cannot wait for next year's inter county season already. Even the league will be brilliant I feel. New mangers in Cork, Tipp, Kilkenny, Waterford and Dublin. Going to be fascinating watching all of it unfold. The year is going to be a complete unknown.

Will probably end with Limerick doing their 4 in a row but how the other teams go about bridging the gap will be most interesting.

I think Cody left because he knew KK had their best shot at an AI this year, and that they are now a way off winning one anytime in the immediate future.

Be interesting to see if Shefflin stays put, does he believe Galway have a better shot in the near term?

Can't wait to see who we try out in the league and what changes Pat Ryan and co make

From the sounds of things the Ballyhale lads were more than happy to see the back of him.

Maybe Pat Ryan should emphasize gym and bulking up! Evidently, the Pairc renovation obscured fitness conditioning in the last while. The Limerick players conditioning hasn’t occurred by accident, as JP’s money has ensured best of facilities. Alan Connolly bulked up a lot last year… his team mates need to follow suit. We won’t challenge Limerick until we can surpass them physically!

Speaking of bulking up the players would want to meet there gym targets first.

you do know that JP hasnt built some state of the art gym for the limerick hurlers.

They do their gym work in a facility called Fit 100. Just a regular gym like plenty similar facilities available in Cork
