Burns is a truly insufferable ego-maniac, an utter windbag. He's is transparently looking to leverage the GAA presidency for a shot at some kind of political position.

No doubt there's Shinners hoping he'll have a shot at the Áras down the line or maybe a seat in one of the border counties but thankfully he has done himself no favours in his stint as a GAA president, first the Rory Gallagher/LLS charade, then his response to the Allianz protests and now this Ger Brennan nonsense, the man just cannot keep his mouth shut.
