The Gaelic Football Thread

Anyone know what way the quarter finals are decided. Is it an open draw or not? Why do the GAA always have to do convoluted???
Repeat pairings from provincial championships or group stages are not allowed.

So:

Armagh v Kerry
Meath v Donegal

and the other 2 have to be drawn:

Tyrone and Monaghan in one pot
Dublin and Galway in the other pot

They could do it this evening easily

Some real good games there and possibly some more good games.

Dubs v Tyrone and Mon/Galway would be a good draw.

Fair enough but according to analysts on Gaa+ Donegal can play Meath or Monaghan ??

Donegal (v Meath or Monaghan) will have a very favourable draw.
Kerry will have a tough route to win Sam, possibly have to beat three Ulster teams-Armagh, Donegal & Tyrone.
Does the three year cycle of provincial champions meeting in semis still apply? If it does it could mean that Kerry would play Donegal(as the team that knocked out the Leinster champions).

Could make a case for 5 teams to win it. Going to be tough for kerry without diarmuid ó Connor and o Sullivan in midfield. Armagh look better than last year. Really powerful athletes and strong subs to come in.
Donegal Ihave the qualities but their game plan is too cautious.
