I watched a few of the re runs of All Ireland's from the 00's and 10's lately.
The amount of piss acting in the 2011 final especially stood out. Persistent black card type fouls, pretty much always fucking balls away or blocking a free from being taken. It really was an absolute scourge on the game.
The difference this year was a breath of fresh air. It's only from the kick out, but I'd have kept it for the year. And the bigger issue is being able to take 2 pointers from the frees being brought up.
It was interesting to hear the Armagh lads talk about how they're annoyed because they'd been preparing for it to be in place and how to deal with it (in other words, how the buy two pointers from it). You'll see teams quickly adapting back to taking the piss again.
