Cork does not have an actual historic centre (lets be honest <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite2" alt=";)" title="Wink ;)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=";)" /> ), so there should be no issue with planning and doing it without "loosing the historical character of the surroundings".</p><p>So why not?
