Pat O'Callaghan has to be in the top 4. Olympic Gold Medals in 1928 & 1932. Only reason he didn't get a 3rd in 1936 was because of a dispute there was no Irish team so he didn't get to go. Smashed the World Record in 1937. A Hammer throwing Colossus.

I'd have no argument with him being in there, just the way I made the choice meant O'Donovan pipped him on my list. O'Callaghan definitely a forgotten giant of our sporting past
