Took advantage of this great offer in Sam's Gala this morning. Also bought a sliced pan as I needed bread. Left my plastic glasses behind as I've a head like a sieve. Everything being done above board, credit note received and exchanged. I was torn between the slab of cans and the mop. All credit to the shop owner, running his store as he sees fit. Long may he run.

Sam doing a roaring trade is he? Even if they stop it it's great advertising for him. I never heard of Sam and his Gala before this.

Rekjordling, not sure of spelling. Swedish cider 1 euro in Spain a can. About 4 euro here if you can even get it. That was before MUP. The king of ciders, kopperberg is the same.

I was in Berlin in 2017 and in Aldi a 500ml can of Pilsner was 31 cents. And it wasnt the piss you get in Aldi over here. Beer in Germany has to be brewed a certain way by law so it was a much higher standard.
