Val Mulcahy got a game ahead of her older brother i think for a feile team or maybe u15 when she was around 12. We crucified him for it at the time and then years later when we saw her play realised she was galaxies ahead of any of us!

As amusing that is, that's actually disgraceful from the management
 
I'd be very worried about Cork's ability to attract government funding going into the future. We've had very the most senior crop of politicians ever from Cork for the last 15 years and they've not got too much done.

The next 20 years will be all about the "Dublin-Belfast corridor" and if they're feeling generous the Dublin-Belfast-Derry corridor. Cork could find itself back where it was in the years after Jack lynch when it comes to political influence. I wonder will people regret the directly elected mayor thing in the fullness of time.

I’ve said this many times on here, we’ve had some of the most senior politicians in Government throughout this century and we hardly got a pot hole filled in Cork
