Maybe it's only all talk, who knows. But I'm still glad the possibility of a Centre of Excellence is being at least mentioned as it's badly needed in a county the size of Cork.

The size of Cork is a key thing, where would you build it.
Perhaps two smaller ones, one east of the city for hurling and one west for football.

2 would be brilliant but I think we'll do well to get one.
Somewhere around Mallow I think would be the best option? But is that unfair on West Cork based players then.
Availability and cost of land an obvious factor. Other counties were lucky to get land donated to them.
 
2 Centres of Excellence. Madness and utter delusion. With opposing Counties announcing New COE , Mayo, Tipp etc. The CCC has reacted and thrown the plebs a fews titbits about a fantasy package and current Funding. Complete and total Pie in the Sky nonsense. There will be no COE for a longtime.
 
Blarney or that new town outside Blarney (Monard?) would prob be the best spot. Easy enough reach from everywhere, especially if this new North Ring bypass thing gets built.... whenever that'll be
