My understanding was that those clubs who’d entered their own U15 teams didn’t fall in with Seandun. I could be wrong on that though.I thought it was for city teams that don't enter u15 championships.

Its for city clubs not playing P1 or P2 u15.It’s for all U15 players in the city who aren’t currently playing with Premier clubs.
Every club except Glen Rovers (P1) and P2 clubs Douglas, St Finbarrs, Nemo and Blackrock so.Its for city clubs not playing P1 or P2 u15.
You were right first time I think @Henrys Fonda, it was open to clubs with no U15 team of their own. Bishopstown (Div 1) had no players involved either.Every club except Glen Rovers (P1) and P2 clubs Douglas, St Finbarrs, Nemo and Blackrock so.
Either did Na Piarsaigh afaik, they have u15 team playing in Mid or North Cork championshipYou were right first time I think @Henrys Fonda, it was open to clubs with no U15 team of their own. Bishopstown (Div 1) had no players involved either.
Na Piarsiagh were not involved and playing Div 1. Same for Colmcilles I think. My reading was it was for teams that were not fielding in the 15 championship. It’s for all U15 players in the city who aren’t currently playing with Premier clubs.
My understanding is that more clubs could be falling in with Seandun it next year even ones with their own U15 teams.Na Piarsiagh were not involved and playing Div 1. Same for Colmcilles I think. My reading was it was for teams that were not fielding in the 15 championship.
Interesting. And will they expand it to more age groups or will it just be U15?My understanding is that more clubs could be falling in with Seandun it next year even ones with their own U15 teams.
Just U15 I’d imagine because the primary age grades at 12, 14, 16 and minor already provide enough games for boys.Interesting. And will they expand it to more age groups or will it just be U15?
I'd hope so, but it might not be feasible. However I always think, that where there is a will there is a way! You'd need the goodwill of clubs to make it work and unfortunately there's always a few gobshites who can't see the bigger picture.Interesting. And will they expand it to more age groups or will it just be U15?
