Particularly so when it seems the Seandun team was only thrown together a few weeks ago.
It helps to reinforce the view that there are quality players in clubs outside of the clubs that play P1 or P2.
Hopefully it will show the players that you don't necessarily need to transfer to a "big" club to be successful.
And the value of divisional teams

The Duhallow divisional teams were a great addition to the championships years ago. Some fine players came through those teams for clubs and county.

I'd love to see Duhallow and Seandun enter teams across the board at P1 level. Surely we can cater for it to promote hurling in the clubs in these areas that may be struggling for numbers. If they become too strong (which I don't forsee in the immediate future) the arrangement can be reviewed.

The opportunity to Play P1 hurling consistently would keep players at their home club for longer imo. Probably a greater issue in Seandun than Duhallow tbf.

It will be interesting next year with Seandun u15, I'm open to correction on Dillons but I think them and Whitechurch could have their own u15 teams next year. Passage had their own u14 team this year.

Im not sure of the criteria. I just believed it was for all players of clubs who were playing at regional level irrespective of fielding independently or not? I'm probably wrong on that. I didn't see any info about it tbh.

It’s for all U15 players in the city who aren’t currently playing with Premier clubs.
